At Ecopostural we work to guarantee sustainable development, trying to improve the well-being of society and guaranteeing the protection of the environment.
Principles and values
With the objective of caring for everything that surrounds us, we base our management on the Economy for the Common Good (ECG), which establishes a change in the global economic paradigm, placing people at the center of organizations and establishing a new objective: the contribution to the common good.

Sustainable commitment
Our strategic policies are alligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by United Nations in their Agenda 2030 and our products cover to a greater or lesser extent the 17 SDGs.
Health and Wellness
We provide a product that improves the quality of life of many people who have some type of mobility disability. In addition, we propose healthier good habits in our social networks.
Decent work and economic growth
We employ 21 people and favour local employment. We try to collaborate with social entities that fight in third world countries to eradicate hunger, for example, with the NGO Acción contra el Hambre.
Industry, innovation and infrastructure
Our R&D department works hard to meet the needs of the people who require our help. For this reason, year after year we integrate the suggestions of our customers to create new products adapted to their needs.
Affordable and clean energy
We favour the conversion of the energy system to a more sustainable one that guarantees zero emissions and for this reason, a large part of our roof has photovoltaic solar panels which were installed in 2019.
Responsible production and consumption
We promote responsible consumption through our brand policies and a production based on a circular life cycle to favour the repair of our tables and extend their useful life.

Our principles and values place people at the centre of our organization and for this reason, we try to promote an organizational culture that guarantees the happiness of the team.
Customers participation
We encourage customer participation in decision making, product development and market research. As a result of these proposals, we launch new products to the market that try to cover their needs.
Local development
We value the proximity of supplier companies, favouring local employment over other international companies. In 2020, more than 50% of the suppliers were from the Valencian Community and only 10% of international origin.
Voluntary contribution to the community
We collaborate voluntarily with different social entities, NGOs, sports clubs and non-profit entities such as Red Cross branch in Castellón, Down’s syndrome association in Castellón, Aspropace or Afanías.
Health
In addition to promoting and controlling safety at work, over the years we have also carried out actions to promote health among workers, for example, with free chiromassage sessions or training focused on improving position and ergonomics.
Organizational culture
The actions developed to promote an organizational culture focused on people over the years have been aimed at promoting a balance of family and work life through flexible hours, at managing health and safety at workplace, at respecting work colleagues, at improving staff remuneration, etc.
Volunteering
The “Social Action Group” has been set up at the initiative of the workers themselves to carry out voluntary activities to help the community.
Environmental impact
The respect and care for the environment is a pillar in our daily activity.
For this reason, we have taken the first steps to analyze the ecological footprint of the entire life cycle of our products with the aim of identifying the main environmental impacts and reducing our emissions as much as possible.
Ecopostural’s environmental policy establishes several priority lines of action:

We have established a purchasing process based on sustainability criteria with the aim of reducing the use of natural ressources.

We promote proper waste management with the aim of reducing waste generation as much as possible.

We encourage efficient energy management through the integration of renewable energy in the production process.

We calculate greenhouse gas emissions to try to reduce them as much as possible in the production process.

At Ecopostural, we evaluate the life cycle of all our products with the aim of reducing the environmental impact and promoting the circular economy.

Thanks to the Emissions Reduction Plan, the carbon footprint was reduced from 11.22 T of CO2 eq in 2020 to 9.13 T of CO2 eq in 2021.
Ecological footprint
At Ecopostural, we have a “2020–2030 Emission Reduction Plan” whose main goal is to achieve climate neutrality by the year 2030.
Since 2020, we have been calculating the carbon footprint of our organization. After the initial assessment, it was concluded that the main source of emissions was the electricity consumption of our facilities. Therefore, the actions included in the action plan focus on reducing these emissions:
Green energy
Installation of a photovoltaic solar cover that allows us to achieve a solar self-consumption of 61%.
Replacement of all lights to led
Different climate talks and environmental activities.
Circular economy
The entire Ecopostural team is aware of the great environmental challenges we face and the enormous environmental responsibility we have as a production company.
We want to be the engine of change towards a more circular economy and for this reason, from the beginning, we have worked trying to reduce environmental impacts throughout the entire life cycle of our products thanks to the choice of more sustainable materials, the optimization of production processes and promoting the recyclability of our products.
Avoiding overexploitation
In order to avoid the overexploitation of natural resources, we have established a purchasing process based on sustainability criteria which privileges those components obtained through production techniques more sustainable. For instance, the wood used in our tables is FSC-certified and the steel of our frameworks has a high durability and recyclability as it is incredibly polyvalent.

The principle of Eco-design in our tables integrates the reuse of components, the useful life of our products and the selection of sustainable materials. We establish cutting patterns to optimize the fabric surface required in every table, we reduce the framework weight and we design tables with replaceable components to lengthen their useful life.
Manufacturing and packaging
Throughout the manufacturing and assembly process, we do our best to reduce our ecological footprint.
The photovoltaic installation in our premises ensures the use of green energy and make special efforts to optimize processes with the aim of reducing the use of natural resources. We also measure our environmental performance as regards the supply of raw materials, energy consumption, generated emissions and the proper waste treatment.
Sustainable distribution
In order to contribute to a sustainable mobility and reduce those emissions related to the distribution of our products, our logistic partners are chosen under sustainability criteria. Thus, we benefit those carriers who ensure a lower carbon footprint.
We lengthen the useful life
Ecopostural products are designed to ensure an easy maintenance and repair along their useful life. It is not necessary to susbtitute the whole table whenever a component breaks down.
We offer the possibility of buying table parts and components for a period of 20 years. This way, we lengthen the useful life of our products and contribute to the circular economy.
Materials recycling
Ecopostural tables must be brought to a recycling centre when its useful life is achieved. At that time, nearly all its components are revaluated for different uses. This will allow to reintegrate materials into a new life cycle thus favouring the principle of circular economy and avoiding the extraction of additional raw materials.
